Corrections Policy
TireCalculator.net is committed to mathematical precision and factual accuracy across all calculators, charts, and guides.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
If you believe a calculator formula, worked example, table value, technical statement, or diagram label is incorrect or unclear, please contact us with the page URL, the value in question, and any supporting source. We review substantiated reports and update pages when a correction is warranted.
How to Submit a Correction Report
Please send reports to contact@tirecalculator.net or visit our Contact Page with the following details:
- Page URL: The exact calculator or guide page address.
- Input Values: For calculator issues, the exact tire sizes, wheel widths, offsets, or gear ratios entered.
- Observed Result vs. Expected Result: The calculated value displayed on the site and the value you believe should be produced.
- Supporting Source: A reference to TRA standards, ETRTO documentation, tire manufacturer technical specification, or standard mathematical proof when applicable.
Correction Process
When a substantiated error is identified:
- The underlying formula or editorial copy is verified against primary engineering documentation or mathematical proofs.
- Calculators or articles are updated, re-tested against automated test suites, and deployed to production.
- If the change corrects a significant mathematical calculation, the revision is noted in the page's technical trust metadata.
